Arizona Rangers Badge

Jim Sweazy, 2013
The Arizona Rangers were first formed in Tombstone in 1882, and later approved by the Territorial Legislature from 1901 to 1909. For the first few years, Rangers did not show their badge until after all the shooting was over and the smoke cleared. They helped clean up the territory as we struggled to become acceptable as a part of these United States.
Artistic license allows me to make this badge appear to be made of copper. The original badge was ornate silver with raised ball shapes on the points of the star.
This is the first version in a series. Custom sizing is available.
Framed on tooled leather.
