Los Muertos



These are not your typical Los Muertos paintings, which are everywhere in November. Los Muertos kitsch just takes over sometimes. Maybe these are a reaction to that. Maybe it's some odd cross-cultural influence related to Border Spanish, in which you must mix Spanish and English, translating loosely as you go. "Como sta frijole, Gato?" becomes "How have you bean, Cat?"
Take these with a grain of salt, and maybe a slice of lime.
